House
bank is used to represent bank branch. All bank data is determined by using
this key. Normally, consultant create house bank by using short name of bank
institute such as HSB01 for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. In case
company has many bank accounts with different branch, house bank will be created
as HSB02, HSB03 and etc.
Transaction Code: FI12 – Change View “House Banks”: Overview
1.1 Press <new entries button>
Identify new house bank.
1.2 Enter bank key
Bank
key is a bank master to keep all bank information. Normally, bank key is created
at level of bank branch. If bank key is not create, you can create by pressing
<create button>.
For this example, I create bank key HSB001 for HSBC London.
Enter bank information.
1.3 Enter bank account
After complete
house bank’s information, you have to click at “bank account” on top left to
enter bank account’s information.
